NychairX™ is the first model in this classic series designed in 1970 by Takeshii Nii. Nii worked on folding chairs since the 1950s, and through trial and error, he eventually designed the X-shaped legs. To these legs, Nii added wooden armrests and a seat made out of thick cotton weave. All came together in a comfortable chair, which marked the start of this seating series.
The seat height is the lowest in this model, and it gives the greatest sense of grounding. Nychair X gives a user a reclined seating position, and thanks to the characteristic higher back, it can provide support for the head. This chair is a great companion for watching movies and reading.
