Mono Zeug Tools set is one of the most original cutlery designs of the present day. This was developed by designer Michael Schneider and was launched on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Seibel family business in 1995. The inspiration for the shapes were the tools of prehistoric man. The knife was inspired by a hand axe, the slender fork is reminiscent of early spear tools and the spoon is reminiscent of a scooping hand. Thus, Mono Zeug is not only an anniversary cutlery, but also a homage to Mettmann, Germany, the home of Mono's cutlery manufactory and the site where the Neanderthal man was found.
Mono Zeug Tools is made of stainless steel 18/10. The knife blade is hardened blade steel, which ensures long-lasting edge retention. The knife is hollow on the inside to allow for a good balance. All parts are suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
