Sou Tokusa is a minimalist take on a timeless classic, blue and white ceramicware is a long-standing traditional pairing with beautiful Japanese art and dinnerware pieces. The wonderful, deep-set embossment of this collection represents tokusa, or Japanese "ten-grass." Tokusa grows in rushes with reed-like bodies segmented with ridges similar to bamboo, and they have beautiful bluish tones at their ends represented by the blue dots. A common scene in the Japanese countryside, this wonderful plant has been a subject of ink-wash painting for centuries.
