The design features overlapping bud-shaped ovals from laser-cut, felted wool. Felted wool was chosen because it's soft, comfortable and familiar. Graphic interlocking oval cutouts give the collection a modern edge. The effect is minimalist and bold, without feeling cold. It’s a welcome change from conventional trivets, which are often made from hard, inflexible materials like metal, ceramic or wood. While Verso’s trivets and table runners are made from a softer material, they still get the job done, protecting tabletops from hot dishes and platters.
