Verso Design Silmu Trivets: Functional Beauty Inspired by Life.
The design features overlapping bud-shaped ovals from laser-cut, felted wool. Felted wool was chosen because it’s soft, comfortable and familiar. Graphic interlocking oval cutouts give the collection a modern edge. The effect is minimalist and bold, without feeling cold. It’s a welcome change from conventional trivets, which are often made from hard, inflexible materials like metal, ceramic or wood. While Verso’s trivets and table runners are made from a softer material, they still get the job done, protecting tabletops from hot dishes and platters. Plus, Verso’s Silmu trivets add artistry to the table. Most trivets get put away after the meal, but these are beautiful enough for everyday display.
