Meet Blossom & Bill.
These Blossom & Bill mugs are hand-crafted and manufactured in Poland in a family run factory. The mugs are fired in very high temperatures and we use a double dipped enamel layer on both rim and handle to ensure its strength and durability. Our ceramic enamel is dishwasher and oven safe up to 180°C / 356°F.
Enamelware is glass fused onto heavy-gauge steel. This makes it smooth, durable and chemical resistant as well as great at holding brilliant, long-lasting colors. They are the highest quality enamelware that can be found on the market and are packed in two’s. Blossom and Bill are featured on both back and front of each mug and the insides of the mug are pink.
Blossom & Bill are design vikings, explorers, warriors, merchants and lovers, and design ambassadors for Isak. To acknowledge their efforts Isak has created a range of products dedicated to Blossom & Bill.
Isak Co. UK was brought to life by Swedish designer Sandra Isaksson. She was raised by a family of trolls in the heart of a Swedish forest. Blueberrykissed; she sculpted clouds and painted rainbows, carved with wind and whittled snowflakes from skybears. Restless she travelled the world in search for inspiration. She eventually found it in a small English town where she now creates beautiful happy things for Isak.
Isak is a brand of well designed and functional graphic based home accessories with a retro infused twist and a twinkle in the eye. We take everyday objects and turn them into better products, we marry a 50’s and 60’s Scandic nostalgia with modern living and create something new Nordic, vibrant and fun.
We are passionate about creating a brand of responsibly manufactured products for the home. Our products are made with the simple aim of making your world a little happier and a little more beautiful. We use the best materials available, recycle as much as possible and make our packaging reusable. We use wood from sustainable sources and recycled paper products and vegetable inks wherever we can. We aim to produce products with integrity; products designed to last, to be passed down and enjoyed for many years to come. We treasure our past and protect our future. In our opinion, this produces an ethical brand.
P.S. Many of our products are part hand made by trolls.
The goal of Isak is to make your world a better place. Our small way of doing this is by creating “beautiful happy things” for your home. We believe that beautiful happy surroundings improve your life.
Our products are inspired by FAMILY, EATING and NATURE. We are inspired by the Scandinavian design tradition, good craftsmanship and naturally sourced materials. ISAK products revolve around the family inside the home. The nest, the home, the sanctuary; creating a space within.
The Isak world is guided by some core principles that establish our ethos:
Love your family, care for them and teach them about the beauty of the world. Home is the most important place in your world. Be loyal, open and honest with your friends. Understand that childhood is the most precious commodity and cannot be traded. The availability of food is not a right; it must be earned and appreciated. There is beauty everywhere and in everything but Nature will always produce the best designs.
Respect all others. We all have our own stories.
At Isak we strive to do everything to the best of our ability with integrity, honesty and openness.
We are as green as we can be. We use responsible sourced and recycled materials wherever we can. At the heart of the Isak brand stands: Integrity, honesty, quality.
We try the best we can at working in harmony with the environment, our partners, our customers, and the societies we touch. We are not exclusively organic or fair trade – because this doesn’t necessarily mean anything. We do the best we can, use the best materials that we can, recycle what we can and treat people well, and that is what makes us ethical and able to trade fairly. Our products are mostly made in Europe, most of them in Sweden and the UK. The boxes for our cups have been designed for re-use. We use vegetable based inks and recycle as much as possible.
