Enjoy your drinks cool by the pool or at a perfect dinner.  And you don’t need a freezer or a fridge to keep them cool with the awarded Naturally Cooling Ceramics Carafe.  Just soak this naturally cooling ceramic in water for a minute or two before use.  It will keep content cool for two to four hours.  You can also create your very own design or write a personal message on the side of the ceramics with a chalk.  Designed exclusively for Magisso by Simon Stevens.

Originally trained in ceramic design Simon Stevens has created award winning tableware designs and is a driving force within ceramics, tabletop and home-wares product design.  Stevens has worked with some of the world’s most prestigious ceramic manufacturers and has taught and lectured on the subject throughout the UK.  His dynamic creativity can be seen not only on the High Street but his most successful ranges are also part of the permanent collections of the V&A Museum and Frankfurt’s Museum of the Contemporary Applied Arts.

Inspired by the public’s interaction with everyday objects, Stevens designs the familiar and makes it not only a pleasure to use but something to visually enjoy.  In 2009 Simon launched the London based Simon Stevens Design Studio.

Life is filled with small everyday problems: how to keep your drink cool in the sun, why making loose tea is always such a mess – and where the heck is your dish cloth?  Sometimes it only takes one tiny thing gone wrong to derail your whole day.  We want to keep you on track and make it easier for you.

Best solutions grow from personal frustration.  When Magisso was established in 2008 in Helsinki the founders had a burning passion to make meaningful design and international business.  And they knew nothing about design and international business. Really.

Over 20 design awards later Magisso still thrives from that same passion.   For the company, every obstacle is an opportunity. They are driven by desire to solve problems and create beautiful designs.  Whenever you discover a problem already solved it’ll make you go:  “Wow! Why didn’t I think of that?” and share it with your friends.  Sharing positive experiences creates a circle that inspires us all  – and makes life better.
