The Inox Flat Kettle is an elegant kettle that received the Japanese Good Design Award. Inox’s wide base allows water to boil rapidly, making it energy efficient as well as aesthetically appealing, and the simple handle can be laid to the side to reduce the kettle’s overall silhouette. It’s even possible to set bowls and cups atop while cooking, providing additional surface space. Fold down the handle to create a flat surface on which objects can be placed on top such as recipe books or bowls filled with ingredients. The arched handle is designed to prevent swinging and provides a sense of unity with the kettle. The stem of the knob is created from Chinese quince wood to prevent it from getting too hot. This simple yet thoughtful design is sure to be appreciated. The wide and flat bottom achieves high thermal efficiency. The shape of the kettle is perfectly suited for boiling water. Inox Flat Kettle fits snuggly in narrow spaces of cabinets or inside refrigerators. This kettle was designed to exist in harmony with its surroundings.
